The Savannah Bananas, an exhibition baseball team in Georgia, famously brings an unparalleled energy and enjoyment to America’s pastime. The “World Famous Baseball Circus” is a masterclass in prioritizing joy, fans, and knowing when not to take anything too seriously.

Founded in 2016 as a collegiate amateur team, the Savannah Bananas made the change to play only exhibition games beginning in 2022 and fully embraced “Banana Ball.” Their alternative set of rules are especially fan and family friendly, including two-hour time limits on games. They embrace silliness wholeheartedly – from coaches roasting s’mores during games, to the pitcher letting the crowd call his next pitch, to the whole team doing a conga line after a homerun, to choreographed dancing on the field.
