Kore is a fan, partnership and revenue intelligence platform for the sports & entertainment business.

We are seeking a proactive Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our KORE Intelligence Platform team. In this role you will act as both an architect and an individual contributor to play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of multiple components across the platform. You will collaborate with our various teams and individual resources to champion our test automation framework as a natural leader. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, which can include wearing many hats including assisting with manual testing when needed and mentoring to develop our teams’ automation strategies. You will be passionate about test automation concepts and enjoy complex problem solving within a dynamic team environment. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage our test automation framework and infrastructure, coordinating with our Engineering teams as necessary and being assigned to the right business priorities. 
  • Maintain and improve our UX and API automation solutions. 
  • Work with the Product Engineering teams to analyze and review business requirements and champion a test-driven development approach for new features, improvements, and bug fixes. 
  • Assist our Product Engineering leads with building and implementation test automation strategies across our products as part of the ongoing effort to improve the overall quality of our products. 
  • Mentor and act as a technical consultant and specialist in areas of test automation for our Product Engineering team resources. 
  • Accountable for best practices and management of our automation codebase including conducting code reviews and offering feedback to other contributors. 
  • Continuous improvement by collaborating with each Product Engineering team and various leads. 
  • Assist with organizing and managing test environments. 
  • Contribute to manual testing where necessary. 
  • Participate in managing weekly product releases, including release testing, coordination and sign-off. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience with test automation development. 
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with C# and .NET 
  • Technical Skills: 
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA software testing methodologies. 
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and test plans. 
  • Experience with Selenium, BDD and related automation platform tools. 
  • Knowledgeable in UI, API, and Database automation testing – strong SQL skills 
  • Experience with performance and stress testing. 

Nice to haves:  

  • Understanding of cloud technologies in AWS and Azure.  
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar work management software. 
  • Experience using Customer Relation Management software (Microsoft Dynamic CRM, Salesforce, SAP, etc.) is a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Previous lead or proven leadership and mentorship experience. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Able to work cooperatively and effectively in an hybrid agile team environment. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Able to manage priorities and work efficiently across multiple initiatives across teams. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Open and honest communicator who can clearly indicate workload capacity.
