Sports rights-owners are therefore being forced to reimagine how they package and monetise their media rights to both engage current and new audiences, and maintain the value of their unique content.

Through a data-driven understanding of which platforms sports audiences consume media – and how they consume it – we help our clients optimise how they distribute content, maximising engagement with content exploited on their owned and operated channels, while ensuring they maximise the value of content sold to third-party platforms.

WHAT WE DO

We analyze our clients’ media consumption data and use market-leading technology to gain in-depth insights into their audience and what influences their media habits. Using our extensive experience and understanding of media trends and the media rights landscape, we then help our clients develop media packages from their portfolio of live, on-demand, archive and shoulder programming that can be distributed across owned and third-party platforms globally – and develop strategies to distribute them to either grow audiences, grow media rights revenue, or both.

For media rights earmarked for third-party platforms, our Rights Management team, established in November 2020 following the acquisition of industry-leading sports rights-sales business TRM Partners, takes media packages to market with a team of corporate-facing sales directors. With our experts in marketing sports content to media platforms globally and supported by audience analytics, creative services and project management expertise, we are able to optimise revenues for our clients while allowing them to avoid the long-term fixed costs associated with maintenance of large in-house sales teams.

For media rights distributed on owned and operated channels, we then provide the technology and support required to carry out highly-engaging digital marketing campaigns that retain, and grow, audiences, consumption and subscription sales.
