We work with clients to help them understand & influence what their fans are doing - the way fans spend their money, the events that fans attend, the channels fans respond to, the content fans watch and more. Grow their audiences and grow their revenues - both direct to consumer and business to business revenues. Our platforms and services are trusted by over 900 clients globally, including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, the NFL, Nike and Amazon. We are almost 1000 people, based out of 14 offices, and we deliver work for sports and entertainment businesses of all shapes and sizes all over the world.
The role will require the candidate to be responsible for:
- Enhance Salesforce Solutions – Lead the development and optimisation of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions.
- Ensure Best Practices – Implement best-in-class configuration, customisation and development standards.
- Act as the SME for Salesforce Technical Solutions – Provide expertise in APEX, Lightning Web Components, middleware solutions and data warehouse integrations.
- Act as the SME for Salesforce Solution Integrations – Be the expert in how Salesforce intersects with other platforms; designing and owning integration data flows between them.
- Lead Solution Design – Architect and deliver scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs.
- Support Business Development – Advise on Salesforce capabilities and contribute to solution proposals and strategic initiatives.
- Upskill Junior Team Members – Mentor and develop internal Salesforce resources, fostering technical growth within the team.
- Senior Stakeholder Engagement – Able to engage and impress at client Director and Exec level stakeholders both on the business side and technical side.
Requirements
Functional Requirements:
- Experience across systems audits, requirements gathering and process mapping
- Creating functional and technical design documentation
- Creating data architecture diagrams
- Creating entity relationship diagrams
- Creating end user acceptance testing scripts and supporting UAT process
- Creation of end user support and training material
Technical Requirements:
- Understanding of Sales and Customer Service processes
- Experience in customising, configuring, and developing Salesforce solutions
- Experience in using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flow
- Expertise in building apps and automation within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, leveraging custom objects, process automation and Lightning experience
- Experience integrating Salesforce with data warehouses & other software
- Strong experience with middleware platforms (Heroku, Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and authentication protocols for secure integrations is desirable
- Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customising Lightning Web Components is desirable
- Understanding of SQL is desirable
- Certifications within Salesforce are required
General skillset:
- Can lead as well as manage project teams
- Comfortable being hands on and managing key client accounts
- Comfortable in delivering technical demonstrations to stakeholders
- Worked across accounts with sizeable budget and multiple markets
- Comfortable building strong working relationships, both within the business and with clients, and a keenness to maintain and develop these relationships
- Ability to work at pace and retain a keen attention to detail
- A willingness to travel (if and when required)
