We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal who is motivated by working in the sports and entertainment industry to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role will provide critical support across the Legal, Finance and Corporate Development functions of our Operations capability, assisting the team with day-to-day corporate and commercial legal support as well as ensuring smooth corporate governance, compliance, and financial administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who is commercially minded, highly organised, and interested in a career in the sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

Legal & Corporate Development:

  • Support the drafting, review, and administration of commercial agreements.
  • Maintain and manage the contract lifecycle, including approvals & execution, storage, and renewal tracking.
  • Maintain and organize corporate records globally, including filings, resolutions and compliance documents.
  • Support RFP responses.
  • Support company secretarial duties, including entity management and statutory reporting.
  • Conduct legal research and support compliance initiatives (including data protection, AML/KYC, and internal policies).
  • Liaise with external company secretarial and legal advisors as needed.

Finance & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Support Finance and wider Operations stakeholders.
  • Provide support for compliance requirements, including document preparation and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a paralegal (either in-house or at a law firm) is strongly preferred. Candidates who otherwise have strong relevant experience working in a professional environment in roles supporting a legal/finance function will be considered.
  • A legal degree or qualification (LPC or SQE preferred).
  •  Exceptional attention to detail alongside effective written and oral communication.
  •  Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task and optimally assess priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Willingness to dive into ambiguous issues and situations, requiring you to be a creative problem solver.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).

    Desirable:
  • Previous sports and entertainment industry experience is not compulsory, but a passion for sport, strong understanding of the business of sport, the various structures and stakeholders within the industry, and a real ambition to build a long-term career within sport are a plus.
  • International legal experience and/or any foreign language ability to a working professional standard would be a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience or interest in legal tech & AI tools, legal ops and innovation
