Two Circles is delighted to announce a record 23 clients have been recognised at this year’s Sport Industry Awards, while the agency has been shortlisted for Agency of the Year for the seventh year in a row.
The Sport Industry Awards are the most prestigious commercial sports awards in Europe, and celebrate the sports clubs, teams, brands and agencies that ensure the industry continues to innovate and excel.
Across 18 categories, the ATP, ATP Media, ECB, England Hockey, England Netball, European Tour, The FA, Formula One, ICC, The Jockey Club, LTA, Manchester United, MLB, The Open, Over Tier, Premier League, Premiership Rugby, RFU, Ruth Strauss Foundation, Sail GP, Southampton FC, Wimbledon and World Rugby were all shortlisted for their industry-leading work and positive impact on sports fans last year.
This includes two joint submissions with Two Circles in the Data and Business Impact category: R&A (Portrush 2019) and Over Tier (NFL Game Pass Europe).
“Shortlisting day is always an exciting moment for everyone at Two Circles as we get to share and celebrate the game-changing achievements of our clients over the last 12 months. Huge congratulations to everyone recognised,” said Gareth Balch, Two Circles CEO.
This year’s Sport Industry Awards shortlisting coincided with the launch of Direct, Two Circles’ new three-year commercial and client strategy.
“Our clients are hugely ambitious and open to embracing new, innovative approaches. Growth in the sports industry going forward will be driven out of a direct relationship between sports and fans, and they are perfectly positioned to capitalise on this,” Balch added.
