News & Insight
Two Circles has appointed Guido Klomp as Managing Director Benelux, as it continues to expand its work with sports organisations across the region.
Klomp joins from TBWA\NEBOKO, where he was heading the business of Dark Horses. Prior to this, he spent almost a decade as Director of Triple Double, later Golazo Brands, advising brands and rights holders including UEFA, PSV, ING Bank, KLM, Philips, Albert Heijn and Red Bull on sports business and commercial growth.
In his new role, Klomp will lead Two Circles’ Benelux business, bringing together its capabilities across data, technology, strategy and marketing to help sports organisations better understand their fans and translate that understanding into long-term value.
Guido Klomp, MD Benelux Two Circles, “Having spent my career at the intersection of sport and brands, I’ve seen how much potential there is in the relationship between fans and the organisations they care about. The next step is to understand that relationship more deeply and turn that insight into commercial value. That’s exactly what makes this next chapter so exciting for me – bringing Two Circles’ global expertise together with local market knowledge to help clients unlock more of the opportunities they have today, while building new capabilities and revenue streams for tomorrow.”
Gareth Balch, CEO and Co-Founder of Two Circles, “There’s a big opportunity in the Benelux. Sports organisations and brands are increasingly looking at how they can connect fan understanding with the commercial decisions they make across their business, and Guido has spent his career right at the heart of the market. He knows the organisations, the brands and, importantly, what drives commercial growth. Bringing that experience into Two Circles puts us in a great position to help the region know fans best and turn that understanding into long-term value.”
