Another record year for Sports IP. $174bn in aggregate sports property revenue in 2025.
The sports industry continues to represent one of the fastest growing segments of the global media and entertainment economy. In 2025, revenues collected by the sports IP owner ecosystem reached an all-time high, extending the upward trajectory of the past decade.
The sports IP market has exhibited an underlying compound annual growth rate of 6% since 2015, almost twice the rate of global GDP growth. The market remains on course to exceed $260bn by 2033.
