WPLL Appoints Two Circles as Exclusive Sponsorship Agency Across Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship

Women’s Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL) has appointed leading sports marketing business Two Circles as its exclusive sponsorship agency for the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) and Barclays Women’s Championship (WC). The partnership, running until the end of the 2028/29 season, marks a major step in WPLL’s mission to build the most distinctive, competitive and entertaining women’s football club competition in the world.

WPLL, formed in 2024 and led by CEO Nikki Doucet, now oversees the governance and commercial development of both the Barclays WSL and Barclays WC, alongside the Subway® Women’s League Cup.

This partnership with Two Circles is a critical move in driving the continued growth of the leagues, ensuring long-term sustainability and heightened commercial success.

As part of the agreement, Two Circles will work on securing sponsorship sales, including a new league-wide Principal Sleeve partner across both leagues. The Principal Sleeve partner will feature on the left sleeve of all 24 clubs competing in the Barclays WSL and Barclays WC next season, a first for any men’s or women’s league in Europe, providing a high-visibility opportunity for brands to engage with the rapidly growing audience of women’s football. In addition, Two Circles will be responsible for identifying and securing a range of transformational partners whose support will help accelerate the sport’s development on and off the pitch.

Two Circles has significant expertise in sponsorship strategy and execution, with a strong track record in delivering growth in women’s football.

This partnership follows the high-profile renewal of the leagues’ Title Partnership with Barclays and Broadcast Partnerships with Sky Sports and the BBC Sport, reinforcing WPLL’s commitment to build on the momentum of the women’s game.
