This internship program is designed to prepare students and recent graduates for full-time roles by providing meaningful projects, hands-on experience, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities. Interns will support real-time content and channel execution alongside experienced social media professionals.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who is passionate about copywriting, content ideation, channel management, and social storytelling. This role provides hands-on experience supporting day-to-day social publishing and live coverage for major sports and entertainment clients.

This is an in-person role, designed for someone eager to build trust, take ownership of daily social execution, and work closely with the Social Media team.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day management of client social media channels, including drafting copy, scheduling posts, and assisting with publishing under team guidance
  • Assist with live and real-time social coverage during matches, events, and key moments
  • Contribute to social content ideation, planning, and execution
  • Research trends, cultural moments, and relevant conversations across sports and entertainment
  • Support social strategy development and ongoing channel optimization
  • Collaborate with producers, designers, and strategists to ensure content is accurate, timely, and on-brand



The Ideal Applicant Will Demonstrate

  • Passion for sports and content creation
  • Experience managing social media accounts (brand, team, publication, or personal projects)
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Comfort supporting publishing workflows and handling day-to-day social responsibilities
  • Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced, in-office environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong communication skills



Sports Knowledge Preferences

• Strong interest or experience in soccer (Premier League, World Cup)
• Interest in women’s sports, including NWSL and WNBA
• Interest or familiarity with motorsports, including F1 and NASCAR
(Depth in one area preferred; curiosity across others is a plus.)

About the Program

Paid Opportunity: Hourly rate dependent on experience ($18–$20/hour)
In-Person Work: Kansas City, Miami, or New York City offices, based on applicant location
Preferred Majors: Marketing, Journalism, Advertising/PR, Communications, Arts, Graphic Design, or related fields
