From thirteen international offices, Two Circles works with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, including the NFL, Premier League, UEFA and EA. The business uses data to grow the volume and value of fan relationships across all channels, to increase revenue across media rights, sponsorship, retail and licensing and ticketing.

The Payroll Analyst is a key member of the payroll processing team, supporting the function with the preparation of financial information & analysis as well as taking responsibility for key foundational tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of relevant & accurate information to support the regular payroll cycles
  • Owning responsibility for specific tasks / elements of the payrolls, including:

o   Produce routine payroll updates for managers

o   Manage the ‘Employer of Record’ employee arrangements with third party payroll providers

o   Manage / clear general queries in the payroll inboxes

o   Managing the BOB (HR system) / payroll interface, including cross-reconciliations, assigning employee codes & cross-checking payroll to contracts, benefits management

o   Oversight of quarterly audits against all our third-party payroll suppliers

o   Supporting with audit & tax year-end activities

o   Manage the Give-As-You-Earn monthly process

o   Pension reconciliations, Accountability updates, distribution of statutory documents (e.g. P45; P60 etc)

  • Identify, agree & implement process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency & financial controls
  • Take over the running of specific smaller payrolls, enabling colleagues to play a more oversight / review role
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis on project work

Requirements

Essential

·        1+ years proven experience in payroll administration

·        Professional approach, self-motivated & good influencing & communication skills

·        Effective analytical skills & confident with MS Excel

·        Ability to work collegiately with payroll/HR/finance colleagues & business customers

Desirable

·        Keen to develop a career in payroll management or finance

·        Personal empathy with sports and the business of sports
